Search Engine Marketing (SEM) Opportunities for nytimes.com

Queries that provide opportunities for this site to advertise through Search Engine Marketing (SEM) to get more traffic. They are popular queries that are relevant to the site, and have low competition in search engine marketing. Learn More Many sites are actively advertising in search engines for the most valuable search queries. This high level of competition tends to result in high advertising costs, which makes it difficult to find attractive advertising opportunities. These opportunities may still exist, however, by looking at the "long tail". The long tail contains search queries with lower Query Popularity, but such queries also tend to have lower QCI. By advertising for many of these queries, sites may still be able to manage an effective search engine marketing campaign. Note that not all queries on the long tail may be very relevant to this site, but this list may contain a number of strong advertising candidates.

Comments: NY Times is the most trusted name in news for me. Outshines the supposed 'journalism' of Murdoch broadcast outlets. Many radio and TV broadcast outlets "rip and read" NY Times content because they have no budgets or research staff of their own. I am consistently amazed at the depth and quality of reporting. As a journalism graduate myself and former reporter, I know these folks are doing what it takes to uncover the real stories behind right wing propaganda, lies and hypocracy. Bravo!! The "Times Reader" app is also totally awesome.

Comments: From the point of view of someone well familiar with world class tabloids like Le Monde, Neue Zuricher Zeitung, The Guardian, El Tiempo, The Harretz, I am terribly disappointed by the sort of propaganda and warmongering put out by the New York Times. Even papers like The Wall Street Journal are more objective than the NYT. It is indeed shocking that Americans don't expect more objectivity from their "paper of record". I am a New Yorker with a few advanced degrees who has traveled extensively around the world. What the New York Times does is called brainwashing and disinformation, not objective news, especially when it comes to news coverage on the Middle East. Hiring Neocons as columnists after they were discredited for lying the gullible American people into a lies based war was the nail in the coffin for the New York Times. Any self-respecting intelligent person should steer clear of the wretched New York Times.

Comments: It is hard to understand why people are complaining about paying for real journalism. Just like all other services you need to pay to have access to professional work. Otherwise you are free to visit perez hilton's website for free.

Comments: This is a news powerhouse. Unfortunately, their ads are so distracting, with flashing graphics that one can't concentrate on the articles. Often these whirling images are promoting the NY Times itself.

Comments: The best newspaper in the country. Some call them liberal, but truth and honesty seem to have a liberal bias in this country. Too bad America is being dumbed down by the opinions of hacks instead of informed by truthful, honest journalist.
