Search Engine Marketing (SEM) Opportunities for newadvent.org

Queries that provide opportunities for this site to advertise through Search Engine Marketing (SEM) to get more traffic. They are popular queries that are relevant to the site, and have low competition in search engine marketing. Learn More Many sites are actively advertising in search engines for the most valuable search queries. This high level of competition tends to result in high advertising costs, which makes it difficult to find attractive advertising opportunities. These opportunities may still exist, however, by looking at the "long tail". The long tail contains search queries with lower Query Popularity, but such queries also tend to have lower QCI. By advertising for many of these queries, sites may still be able to manage an effective search engine marketing campaign. Note that not all queries on the long tail may be very relevant to this site, but this list may contain a number of strong advertising candidates.

Most people have doubts regarding various teachings of the Catholic Church because they don't understand the actual meanings of the words used in the books and classes. For example non catholics ask me why we catholics worship the Holy Vergin Mary. This is because they do not understand the meaning of the word " WORSHIP " or cannot differentiate it from other similar word like " venerate " etc. I am sure this website will be of help in this context.

"Jacques Cartier did not discover Canada. He discovered the St. Lawrence River. Lief Eriksson discovered Canada in the year 1000 AD 500 years before Cartier was born."...As a descendant of Leif Eriksson, I can assure you that he did not discover Canada. There were thousands of Native Americans here when he arrived.

Here is copy of an the first paragraph of an article on your web site:Fabriano and MatelicaDiocese of Fabriano and Matelica (Fabrianensis et Mathelicensis). Fabriano, a city in the province of Macerata, Central Italy, is noted for its paper manufactories and its trade in salted fish. It is said to have been founded in the ninth century B.C. by refugees from the ancient Attidium (the modern Attigio); even as late as 1254 the baptismal font of Fabriano was in the church of San Giovanni Battista in Attigio. The history of Fabriano is closely connected with that of the Marches. In the church of San Benedetto, of the Silvestrine monks, is the tomb of Blessed Giovanni Bonnelli, a Silvestrine (d. 1290). St. Silvestro Guzzoli, the founder of this order, is buried at Monte Fano, not far from Fabriano, where Blessed Giuseppe dei Conti Atti and Blessed Ugo Laico, both Silvestrines, are also buried. The relics of St. Romuald were transferred to the church of SS. Biagio and Romoaldo in 1480. The city was under the jurisdiction of Camerino until 1785, when Pius II re-established the see of Matelica and united it aeque principaliter with Fabriano. You will note it is said that Pius II reestablished the see in 1785. This is an obvious error in the Encyclopedia, and I am amazed that the error is carried over. The Pope in 1785 was Pius VI, NOT Pius II. I THINK THIS SHOULD BE CORRECTED AND THE LINK SHOULD BE TO PIUS VI. I know the Encyclopedia has Pius II but should an obvious error should not be perpetuated, should it?Dewie Gaul

I have great respect, but reservations, for what you are providing on the internet. For example, you have 35 pages on the sacrament of penance, but nowhere mention reconciliation. I thought that was what the Catholic Church called the sacrament now. Also you have nothing about sex, sexuality or puberty, but great screeds about saints who may or may not be genuine.I know that the eternal verities exist, but you must also yield to what we also see, hear and touch.

After reviewing some of the key elements in this saint's life, it is interesting that one might also invoke this saint as patroness for those victims of hate crimes and those looked down upon.

The article regarding Jacques Cartier originally written by N.E. Dionne, transcribed by Ted Rego is not factual in that Jacques Cartier did not discover Canada. He discovered the St. Lawrence River. Lief Eriksson discovered Canada in the year 1000 AD 500 years before Cartier was born. It is inaccurate historical facts like this that are pounced on and twisted to suit politicians' arguments to force Canada into Official Bilingualism because 'Canada was discovered by the French'. Presently, Canada is a mosaic of the world and should be treated as such.

For quite some time I have been fascinated with World Religion and indeed from an objective standpoint. I stumbled upon this website which indeed has a great volume of information, much of which I would deduce is credible. However, I leave rashly disappointed. It would seem that the predominant view (in the encyclopedia) is that all other religions are but inferior to the "oh but perfect" christian religion. It would seem to me, the objective observer, that this "Christianity vs all others" view lacks two things. First, as far as I can tell there is no CRITICAL judgement of Christianity (and there ARE many areas in which to be critical). Second, other belief systems are merely picked apart to expose the negative aspects. I could do the same with Christianity. Once again I am reminded of J Krishnamurti who said that religion limits one's ability to find the truth and segregates and divides humanity from one another. As a very simplified example, when we look at a the Buddhist belief system, for example, there never have been any wars fought in the name of Buddhism. However, there have been many struggles fought in the name of Christianity. This would be a good website should the writers practice some tolerance and maybe learn something from other belief systems rather than condeming them as inferior to the Christian religion.

A few days ago I met through the web a man who classifies himself as a christian and states than he had been set apart from God for years but now he is eager to know more about religions. I am a born catholic and I stick to my religion with deep devotion, so he asked me for help to know more about my Faith. In trying to help him I started my reasearch and finally I discovered this jewel. It's amazing how good it is . I immediately added to My Favorites and invited him tho join. If more catholics knew about this site, we could help those confused brothers get into the real and only religion: Catholicism and this site is THE MUST!!!!!!Go bless you all!
