Comments: It is really sad to see such companies make hay on wrong beliefs. A lot of hotels have tied up and instead of publishing bad reports which are true, they end up suppressing bad reviews ... its a corrupt company, both internally at engineering level and also at management of engineering level, with some managers coming from microsoft and sort of killing the spirit, microsoft managers are the worst ... if you get a microsoft manager just run away fast !!!! There are some old timers who were pricipal engineers who became managers, and then soon directors, its a chaos, with politics and quick reorg every 3 months. I think its time to focus more on giving better deals to users, i guess now its better to search here and then go to the specific site and take as that turns out to be cheaper and gives us more confidence level as we do a direct purchase. If there are issues, expedia will refer to airline and airline will refer to expedia and you keep going in a circle. best of luck if you end up using it though ...

My hub and I just returned from Puerto Vallarta, Mexico and had such a fantastic time we wanted to share our experience. We stayed at the Club & Grand Marival in Nuevo Vallarta, an all-inclusive resort mainly for families. We went as a couple, but there were a great number of families with children, all having a ball! There is a small water park pool and daily kids activities. Many native Mexicanos stayed here which enhanced our international experience. The children were cute and well behaved with so much to do, many couldn't stay awake through dinner. I can't say enough wonderful things about this resort. The food was excellent! There are several resturants, 3 which require reservations and well worth it. 5 course gourmet meals served at a leisurely pace in elegant surroundings. There were also smaller menus for children. The buffet resturants were also wonderful, service a wide variety for all tastes. The service all around from maid to bar was again, excellent. Our room was made up every day by the time we returned from breakfast. Bar portions are understandably small but it was not difficult to get as much as you could hold. The hotel was extremely clean at all times and again cannot say enough about the friendly staff who tried to teach us spanish and were so gracious. There were 4 pools, children, family, games and adults only so we had a quiet pool all day! There was daily entertainment, the shows were very cute although somewhat amateur featuring the "Animation" staff. These kids ran pool games, excercise activities, beach activities and appeared nightly in active performances. Whew! The Mexican (Irish) step dancers were my favorite. If I had to pick a negative I'd say the beach/ocean could have been cleaner, Apparently it is most of the year, but not in the summer. There are vendors on the beach but they are not aggressive. Also, a trip to old town Puerto Vallarta should not be missed, but the vendors (esp. Time Share) are extremely aggressive and should be avoided at all costs. Souvieniers are inexpensive and fun. Your USA $ buys a LOT! Can't say enough about how much the hub & I enjoyed our stay, except to say we are going back and taking friends! Can't wait to get back.

Will never use again! Save your money. Did you know that if you cancel a flight that expedia takes almost 60 days to refund. And guess what its not expedia according to them they use another service called ARC for all credit card transactions!! They (expedia) will not give out the phone number to ARC so you can talk with them about a time deley in refunds! You have to call customer service (expedia) and demand to talk with supervisior and then talk the supervisior into calling ARC and making sure the credit card will be charge back the amount of your airline ticket. This is POSTED NO WHERE on the expedia website! This is very misleading to the public and doing business with expedia is NOT who your doing business with! WOW, Arc does the processing and who is ARC anyway? Me as a paying customer cannot contact them about a refund nor did I know they were getting my visa numbers! Who else online is expedia sharing our information with? Your credit card! NO PLACE online at expedia is it posted a 3rd party will be given your credit card information! Maybe, better off just going with your hometown travel agent that is trust worthy and will be happy to refund you within 48 to 72 hours should a flight change that you can no longer take and have to book another flight with another airline. Not sure if the other travel sites online have this kind of shame running or not...but buyer beware cause we do NOT know who has your credit card information once you give it to expedia!

Expedia is a very good site, and sometimes offers good prices, especially when you combine flight & hotel arrangements. But here's a big caution: be sure you're booking what you want! Expedia charges a HUGE TRANSFER FEE if you need to change your arrangements! It's the highest I've ever seen in the industry, and I think it's an intentional scam. If you need to take a different flight, for any reason (hurricane, flood, you're in a coma...), they'll slam you with a $150 transfer fee. And that's even if your ticket was only (...)to begin with! Delta only charges (...)for the same service, so somebody is making a healthy profit on your misfortune. Again, I've used them with good experiences. But the times I've had to change my travel plans left me with a very bad taste in my mouth. Be careful when booking, they're opportunists.

Outstanding service! All other online reservations are a headache for infant bookings. Expedia flies higher than the rest in any possible way. Site design is pleasurable and easy on the eye. Easy to operate and navigate. Top stars all the way!
