Comments: The e107 system is FREE with a simple and easy to follow on screen installation interface to get the owners website operating fast. There are free and premium themes to change the layout or it can be customized easily by daring, new webmasters. There are also "plug ins" that extend or add functions like clocks, polls, site search and many, many others. This was and is the easiest CMS with features and tools I want and need for me.

I've experimented with several different cms/portals, and this one is by far the best for my needs. The plugins are plentiful, themes well designed, and it's extremely easy to use, yet can be made very powerful.

e107 is far and away one of the best cms's on the market. The core functions makes e107 quite versatile and when combined with a wide array of plugins, whose number increases weekly, you have a package that can stand shoulder to shoulder with the best of them. The available themes, including one that emulates the look of phpbb, as well as available tutorials and ready help on designing your own theme gives anyone the ability to achieve the look they desire for their site. Considering that until a few versions ago e107 was a one man show, the quality of the package and professionalism of the staff are outstanding and are further reasons that this cms package stands out. If you are interested in a content management system then e107 is truly worth the time and effort

This is basically using phpBB2 as the core for the forum system and taking off their copyright in an attempt to make it look like your own.
