The site still has 5 star comics, sometimes weeks in a row even, unfortunately just not nearly as often anymore.

I am a fan of many webcomics and I have to say I enjoy CAD the most. I was first introduced to webcomics by reading Penny Arcade, but I found the jokes were very repitious and the comic seemed to be doing too many advertisements for games, so I went on a search for other comics. I now read on a regular basis: Machall, PvP, and CAD. The first time I read CAD I was instantly hooked. I love Ethan because he reminds me of a good friend of mine, and Lucas reminds me of myself. I have read every single CAD comic several times and still get a kick out of all of them. I enjoy the continuing story lines that can last for weeks or longer. Thanks Tim Buckley for making such awesome characters.

This comic is simply hilarious. I've read many others-- applegeeks, penny arcade, chugworth academy just to name a few, but Ctrl-Alt-Del takes the cake. Provides wonderful satorial humor and very detailed and diverse characters. I've given this web comic plenty of chances. Everytime I come back, it's less funny than when I left it. Personally, the author comes across as childish and unlikeable. His interactions with the community outside the comic has left more than a bad impression. Ctrl-alt-del is the antithesis of a good webcomic. Stereotypical, unfunny and occassionally down right condescending.

I started reading webcomics a few years ago with Penny Arcade, and was satisfied. After reading CAD, however, the PA jokes seem tired, and the artwork seems lackluster and overdone at the same time. Some people have gone far enough to say that CAD is a PA ripoff-this is obviously untrue. While CAD does, on occasion, use jokes from other comics (i.e. its "continued from applegeeks 124" comic,) it always does so in good taste and with obvious reference to the originating comic. Instead of being a rip-off, CAD is fostering a healthy society around webcomics-- a society that Mike Krahulik and Jerry Holkins (authors of PA) have tried to exclude CAD from several times. But I digress. CAD comics are well-drawn, well thought-out, and generally well-done every day. If you've decided to start reading a webcomic, or already do and haven't tried CAD, I would strongly suggest this site.

CAD has got to be one of the purest, funniest and original webcomic's out there. Asbath has got some real skill and his storylines never cease to make me laugh! A great read!

I won't stoop to mentioning other webcomics, but I will say that CAD doesn't deserve those comparisons. Criticizing poor execution is one thing, but I keep seeing criticism on what the artist is doing ON PURPOSE. I.E., the random jokes are supposed to be like that. Just say they aren't your thing; there's no reason to attack and compare and rant over it. I don't think Tim Buckley seems like an overly chummy person, but I don't think he seems like a complete jerk, either. But his personal life and attitude are NONE OF MY BUSINESS. The important part is the art, which I've seen a million complaints about as well. All I have to say is, Do you READ web-comics often? This is one of the better ones! There are so many comics out there done by people who CANNOT DRAW or WRITE for their lives. This comic did not get popular for no reason. It has good enough content for its many many readers, and I am one of them. The old random ones are funnier, but I like the plot development. Stuff happened. Lately it's been getting a bit pat, but when you really find a groove, a storyline, you just develop that. I don't see how it is any of my business what the artist wants to do with HIS Comic. Art is about the artist FIRST, in my opinion. It's funny enough to read especially for the old ones involving Ethan and Lucas' banter. Getting into it now isn't advisable unless you take a crack at the archives. Seeing how it all grew makes it more enjoyable, I think. Sure, it isn't my VERY favorite anymore, but I don't think the CAD-bashing is fair. It's still pretty swesome.
