We love buzznet, it is a great commuinty for finding your favorite things, bands, festivals, or whatever. Share Photos, Videos and Blogs, Tag that content and create groups for your friends to do the same, and follow along with the latest content. I might be a founder, but I am also a member! In a world where the internet is becoming this generation's malt shop, you can go almost anywhere to any site and mingle with the most unique. Buzznet.com, one of the "babies on the block" so to speak, is slowly but surely moving its way up the list. A site that revolves mainly around the music world has forums for people to talk about their favorite bands, artists, music styles, and celebrities in general, but for those who are not so, musically inclined, the forums are also linked to something the site has called buzzwords, which are entered on every member's personal homepage in accordance with his or her interests and however he or she would like to label their new contributions to the site. I have been a member for only a short time, but already I am thrilled with the ease of navigation. I am just a click away from visiting a friend's profile, updating a journal, sharing a favorite music video or picture. Not to mention the wonderful idea of allowing each individual person to upload a music play list of their favorite songs so others can get a taste of something completely different, or find that they share a favorite song. New things are being added all the time, and continuously tweaked to better the site and increase the happiness of the current and new members. In my book, Buzznet.com is on a fast track up the list to a favorite.

Of course I am going to say great stuff around Buzznet because I help create it. Buzznet is often confused as a photo-hosting site like Yahoo or a social network like MySpace. Buzznet is content community experience, which includes both social networking and media hosting. Buzznet encourages people to post their favorite photos, journals or videos as a public expression. After which other people freely tag, comment or post their favorite content as well. This builds the community experience. Buzznet is not about the individual profile or image, but more about what the person loves or shares in common with others in a community on Buzznet. Buzznet supports individuals and groups to create public or private rich media communities; while striving to deliver a superior software and community experience around shared interests.

Its fills a niche between flickr and myspace. Tons of interesting/artistic photos to wander through. Active community of users. The age range is wider than Myspace. Overall, a great way to share photos/thoughts/comments with the world.

Buzznet is the premiere site for anything that has to do with cool new music from Fall Out Boy, MCR, The Hush Sound, HIM, and a lot more. Buzznet also has cool, and funny editorial content that doesn't sound coroporate and contrived, it doesn't pull any punches when it comes to presenting an unedited view of our pop culture and music obsessions.
