Not sure why everyone's so down on the O, so let me put in my vote for it's still rocking. They still have the best online humor as well as cool music and movie coverage.

This site used to be the best, but what happened??? The Onion has gone from being a hilarious satire to just another mouthpiece of the Left-Wing pinhead crowd. (yawn.)

I used to love the onion. I used to look forward to each weeks issue, and i used to laugh out loud reading articles. But somewhere along the line it went wrong, and now it just reads like just another anti-America Michael Moore wannabe diatribe. What a shame.

The Onion was once funny -- now it's just schlocky!! What once was satire is now 10th-grade high school humor (and what's funny about that)? I've heard the owners sold out to a big corporation. God, I feel sorry for the shareholders of that place. Fire the CEO right now! Goodbye and farewell, Onion, you had your hayday -- now you're just a relic of the dot-com bomb internet.

Back in the day, the Onion was required reading for all those who loved to laugh. Nowadays, it's a pale shadow of itself. Don't believe me? Go to a bookstore and check out the older Onion articles versus the new stuff on the website. No comparison. Major props for them keeping it up all these years, but they're getting weak and losing their game. Is Gary Kroeger writing for them?

I don`t get it. What`s the big riff about this site? It ranks 1,200 which is about a mill + viewers a day. Are there that many brain dead people out there? This site is just about the lamest, most wet noodle "humor" sites I`ve seen to date. I half expected to see a "knock knock" joke or a "why did the chicken cross the road" type of joke. People calling this site "hillarious"..Are you kidding me? What kind of drugs are you on?

With the amount of money they make, they should be able to crank out more material, as well as more of the gut busting things that are always present. They have some absolutely fantastic material - but with their pocketbook - I am surprised they can't do all that much better than some of the 'non-profit' humor sites out there.

I have no idea what has happened to the onion. I remember the days that I use to actually laugh at the content. What once was funny is now simply strange at best. I use to spend minutes at a time laughing my fat butt off to the hilarious satire on this site. Well, no more. Sadly, The Onion has become a pathetic relic of its former self. Where The Onion use to make me cry tears of laughter, it now simply makes me cry. The stench from this horrible waste of bandwidth is almost enough to make me actually enjoy the content of slashdot. I am sure The Onion is barely hanging on to sponsors as I am barely hanging on to my lunch from the hideous content on their site. Yes, it has gotten that bad. If you still think The Onion is the least bit funny than you probably enjoyed "Dancing With the Stars" also. As unbelievable as this sounds, I have laughed more at major news networks sites than I have at The Onion for a LOONNGG time. So, check out some of the major news sites every now and again for more laughs than this site will ever give you. R.I.P. The Onion.
