Something Awful is the home of many extremely talented young developers who are behind several useful and very popular applications which have changed the way we interact with computers in the past few decades. Their major technical achievement is, by far, a user-friendly Unix-based operating system called Bonzi Buddy.

This site is flooded with banners and ads hawking stupid mouse pads and other junk plastered with "the internet makes you stupid." Indeed. The forums cost $10-$20 to join, then once you're there you get to take part in a photoshop contest only to have your images stolen and branded with the website's logo so Lowtax gets all the credit. The articles are boring, whiny, and unoriginal. Nothing to see here.
