Comments: We use many comparison sites to advertise with good results needless to say I didn't monitor the performance for a few weeks. After this time I noticed they had been debiting our account £100 every 4-5 days. Their reporting tool said we had over 1300 clicks but Google Analytics had reported 15 in this time. They claim they're part of a Partner Network and so their tool tracks all clicks from them and their partners however this will not be shown on Google Analytics. I don’t believe this for a second and I think this company should be investigated for bad business practices.

I set up my account, it's up for not even a couple hours, my clicks are finished and I go to Google Analytics to check stats and I only received 1 (ONE) click from them so I contact them and ask how much I am being charged per click and how many people clicked on my links? Their reply "Shopping.com may be counting clicks differently from your internal tracking system, which often explains the click discrepancy in your internal reports versus the reports that Shopping.com provides. Individual users may click multiple times on your product listings, and each of those clicks count as a click in your reporting system". I was charged avg. .44/click. Apparently I had over 340+ clicks within a couple hours and funny not one response, question, purchase NADA!!! Shopping.com is an ebay company i was scammed on there too! If you have hundreds to spend her hour/day then you can afford to waste your money here. For smaller companies such as myself not worth it! You have a better chance throwing your cash to strangers and hoping that one of them brings it back to you!

If your a merchant and want to make $$$ in the online industry Search Engine Marketing on the major search engines is the way to go. Funny thing is, I was told that the minimum price per click for my product line would be $.20, then I see 40 other merchants selling the same toner and to get listed on the first 2 pages I was told I would have to bid $2.50 a click. How can one get a ROI on that ?? Customer service, none !

This site is at the forefront of rip offs, their online charges for merchants set a new standard in bad business practice. They seem to think they are worth more than yahoo, google and msn and their ROI system stinks, be prepared to be severely ripped off if you advertise or use their merchant programs.. please be warned stay clear of this company!

They charge you $20.00 a month to index your site and they can't even categorize your products right. They automatically change your CPC in higher demand months. I run a toy store and they put my items in miscellaneous, jewelry and home furnishings. Beyond inept. Stick with Google Adwords, Yahoo Shopping, Y Search marketing (overture), enhance interactive. Any of these companies can give you a better deal on advertising and relevant clicks. Shopping.com is almost as bad as looksmart. Looksmart still wins for irrelevant clicks.

By far, the worst shopping site experience I have had. It took forever to get my products uploaded, and once they were, all of them were in the incorrect categories. I "remapped" all of my products, making them unavailavle for editing for over a week and a half (a process that should have taken 72 hours at the most.) After waiting to be allowed to edit, I logged in to find that my products have been completely removed. Everyone at the company seems to have disappeared - no one answers emails or phone calls. The receptionist even has calls going straight to voicemail. I would strongly advise to use alternative shopping sites.
