I recommend
this site to a friend
As a Social Security disability lawyer and editor of a Social Security "how to" publication, I access the official SSA website frequently and I frequently refer my clients there as well. The site is very comprehensive in that it links to forms, pamphlets and documentation about all of SSA's programs. However, I find that the site's completeness takes away from its usefulness. My clients are looking for disability info only. Disability info is located in the second column, midway down. Often, my clients cannot find the main disability link. I believe that a disability only Social Security site would be more useful to users than this all-in-one site. At the very least, SSA could offer both options.
