Search Engine Marketing (SEM) Opportunities for reddit.com

Queries that provide opportunities for this site to advertise through Search Engine Marketing (SEM) to get more traffic. They are popular queries that are relevant to the site, and have low competition in search engine marketing. Learn More Many sites are actively advertising in search engines for the most valuable search queries. This high level of competition tends to result in high advertising costs, which makes it difficult to find attractive advertising opportunities. These opportunities may still exist, however, by looking at the "long tail". The long tail contains search queries with lower Query Popularity, but such queries also tend to have lower QCI. By advertising for many of these queries, sites may still be able to manage an effective search engine marketing campaign. Note that not all queries on the long tail may be very relevant to this site, but this list may contain a number of strong advertising candidates.

Comments: I have a love/hate relationship with Reddit. I love the voting system. I love that I can always count on finding at least one interesting article every time I visit. What I hate is the "hivemind" mentality of the Reddit community. Despite loudly claiming to be open-minded and logical, anyone who doesn't fit in with their far-left, atheist, pro-drug, anti-American attitudes isn't welcome. It's disappointing that the community is so obnoxious on an otherwise unique website.

Comments: If you want to keep up with world events go to Reddit. The most relevant topics in the news rise to the top and the least relevant fall to oblivion. Reddit is a web site that represents a small picture of the entire web. There are sub categories ranging from star gazing to world news. Use Reddit to obtain knowledge on real life "hacks" as you learn how to save money and take shortcuts to life's challenges. Truly a great community and a great site.

Comments: After Digg imploded in 2010, I moved to Reddit being the place where I get my daily news at the suggestions of others and I have to say that it is, by far, my favorite website that I had ever become aware of. The highly active and engaged community has such a strong sense of democracy given the way Reddit is constructed that reading the news stories (which are incredibly diverse and interesting) and reading the comments people post under them are equally as fascinating. I highly recommend Reddit for those who want to learn about the real state of current events.

Comments: Reddit to me is a small version of the internet. News, discussions, politics, sports, sex, pictures, philosophy, everything is covered. A very intelligent and friendly community as well.

Comments: Not for everyone. A very active community involved in both current events and silly cat pictures. A general bias on a vast number of topics but open discussion is always possible (and encouraged). The novice web-users may find the site slightly intimidating. Best content aggregator on the web. Period.
