Comments: I find this to be a very enjoyable site, personally. I won't pretend its population doesn't consist primarily of slutty girls and horny guys, but I will argue that that's not necessarily a bad thing. You can block the people who REALLY bother you, laugh at the people who are stupidly bothering others, and meet new friends while you're at it. If you want to meet someone new, this is the site for you. But if you can't handle a couple of creepers along the way, just stick with Facebook.

Comments: This website is all about making friends, flirting with people near you, and having a fun time. Use it with the excellent smartphone applications, and you're set up for some major dating win. Anytime I have an issue with not receiving the in game currency (lunch money) customer support is very quick to help out. If I don't like what people are saying in "chatter", I will hit the block button, and I no longer have an issue. They have a section called "causes" which teaches users how much fun it can be to give to a variety of charities. This website is much improved from last year. The only tip I have is when you're trying to gain popularity and friends, do so by using the smartphone applications that support this website. That will keep you from getting a virus, or a harmful worm on your computer while visiting a mass amount of users. This website can be rather addicting. It's very cute with stickers, premium gifts, and VIP gifts. The game section is being updated with better games, which is needed.

Comments: I joined this site to use an alternative to Facebook. With a misleading name like 'my yearbook', you would expect that this networking site would help you find your old classmates and friend them. Nope. I received 20+ friend requests a day from people that lived nowhere near me. This sounds good for meeting new people, but it just happens that this website attracts the wrong type of people. Around 90% percent of the users are either stoners, using pictures of other people, prepubescent scantily clad teenagers, desperate guys flooding the news feed with their “loneliness”, battle vote-hungry people, horny teenage boys, and perverted 30+ year old men. Within 5 minutes of posting a picture, I received a message from a man 15 years older than me asking sexual questions. I realize this isn't the staff's fault, but if you're looking for a site to rekindle old friendships or meet decent legitimate new people, it’s not for you. The privacy department is also lacking. The news feed integrates information from everyone, and everyone can see it. When I was new, whenever I posted a status or picture, people I never heard of would comment on it/'like' it and I couldn't figure out why. The 'match' section of this website is also confusing. Whenever someone "secretly admires" you, you can guess form a list as to who it was. If you guessed right, it would not tell you that you "admired" the person back and would not give you the option to not admire them. When I was a curious new user, I had to deal with the awkwardness when people messaged me if I was really interested in them because of a poorly designed website application. In addition to the above privacy concerns, you can't make certain modules in your profile private (e.g. pics section) like myspace or facebook allows you to without making your entire profile private. It's either completely private and sheltered off or public and wholly open. This is probably the biggest disadvantage to using this website.

I told him he was sick, he reported me. Blocked for 24 hours. Then, tonight,. my 24 hours is up, and I'm chatting with a friend when someone writes me from their husbands account telling me not to talk to their husband. I tell her I don't and to leave me alone. She reports me. Blocked again. So, I got blocked for telling a sexual predator off, and then blocked for being accused of talking to someones husband. They aren't very good at monitoring what is REALLY going on.

myYearbook is a great site. Much better than myspace. There are no Ads and it's much easier to find someone with similar interested. Cool online yearbook.

I first joined myYearbook when it had not grown past two high schools. As of now, the site has added increadible features that just blow away the competition, such as myspace. Give it a year, and myYearbook will be the new and so much better myspace. A big fan of myYearbook, David
