Comments: I signed up in 2009. It seems to be useful for finding out about old friends and colleagues. Other than that there is so much Bull**t posted about deals, so called "exciting" offers etc. I had about 50 direct linked colleagues, in various Industries from Construction, Mining, property and retailing. We all realized after a year or so that we have really not had any benefit from it whatsoever! That's not to say don't join, just don't expect much, though it can be fun to see just how much past colleagues put so much c**p into their resumes!! Good luck!this site to a friend

Comments: When I was working for a company, I used linkedin once in awhile but I use it everyday to make contacts for the sake of promoting/linking up and making useful contacts for another venture. It's a huge tool and probably one of the best tools I have ever used to find a wide variety of Muslims in one place that is not too hard to reach them through.
