Lycos is a cheap excuse for a searh engine. I'm in IT for 15 yrs and trust me... their search engine is nothing like Google or Dog Pile, now these are true engines. Lycos can't stand up so obviosly they need to install on the sneak... think about it.

I made the mistake of allowing Lycos to install its search tool on my computer. Next thing you know all web pages had links installed in them. The search was on whether you wanted it or not. It was difficult to use the web page's own links because of Lycos interference. And there was no easy way to remove it. I had to get anti-spyware to get rid of it.
