I buy tickets for opening nights of films all the time on fandango. I live in a big city, and if I don't get the tickets in advance here, I often can't get into the movie because they sell out an hour in advance. This is a great service, particularly when you print your tickets out and get to skip right to walking into the theater.

Fandango is really easy to use, fun and colorful and always informative. I don't like to have to find a newspaper for show times... It's so old fashioned compared to Fandango. I certainly don't begrudge this service their $1 per ticket... I don't always buy on-line, but when I do, Fandango deserves my $1. The commercials that air at the theaters are HILARIOUS!!

The site is OK -- very functional and easy to use. The problem is, you never really know when you'll need tickets in advance and then you have to pay $1 extra for EACH ticket just to get them. I HATE thinking I need to get tickets in advance and then going to the theater to find out that there are like 15 people in the audience. Fandango's OK, but the idea that you ALWAYS need to get tickets ahead of time is just dumb.
