I find that AsiaRooms indeed have very good rates, and availability but I would like to tke this opportunity to post a warning and make fellow traveller/online bookers very aware. I live in the UK had booked two different hotels in two very different destinations (I was going to stary at Hotel de la Paix in Siem Reap, Cambodia and then later stay at New World Renaissance in KL, Malaysia). I had also considered the USD 15 cancellation fee (7 day notice). When I informed Asia Rooms of my intention to cancel my booking for the first hotel the very next day (my reason being that I had found a local Cambodian agency - Mittapheap - with much better rates) Asia Rooms immediately went ahead and charged my credit card for the whole amount (468 USD = 275 GBP) and then took about 15 days to credit my account with the amount minus 15 USD (453 USD = 251GBP). As currency exchange rates vary on debit and credit amounts since it equates to buying and selling currency, this actually cost me a lot more than 15 USD. The difference was actually 24 GBP (45 USD), a whole lot more than 15 USD. Strangely enough, my credit card was not charged for the other hotel (the one I still wanted and did stay) at until much much later, even though I booked it so much earlier. I never got a valid explanation as to why they did not charge my account for both hotels and so I suspect that my credit card was only charged for the hotel I cancelled to take advantage of the difference in currency exchange rates. Oh well, my loss- their gain. Personally, I would be very very wary of using AsiaRooms again.

I used Asiarooms.com for the first time to book two hotels in Thailand. The service was excellent; on arrival at each hotel I just presented the hotel voucher and everything was in order and check-in was completed very quickly and efficiently. The prices I paid for each hotel were less than the hotel's own advertised rates. I would have no hesitation in reccomending this particular website to anyone. Thank you.

This is great hotel for a stay in Chiang Mai. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly. The rooms are well furnished and very clean. The night bazaar is right outside your door. The $40.00 inc tax and breakfast was a great bargain. Each morning there was plenty of choices for breakfast either Western or Asian. I will always be useing Asia Rooms for my bookings.

My first visit to Bangkok was a memorable one thanks to the excellent service and room accommodation of Novotel Siam Square Hotel. My family of 8 adults and 3 children occupied four rooms as clean and luxurious as those of 4 - 5 stars hotel rooms we experienced in Japan and other countries. We are already talking about staying in the same Novotel on our next year's trip to Thailand.

I suppose the hotel is ok for the money since this is my first visit and I wanted to be in a safe environment. It is close to the beach. There are two swimming pools and lots of yard space. The facility is gated, very big and safe which is good for people traveling with kids I suppose. I personally would have preferred one closer to the beach with beach access. One that is on the beach next to the beach chairs. That is where everyone goes. To get to the beach chairs, you would have to walk a few blocks which I did not care for much. The room was a junior suite which I suppose is ok but rather small with simple decor. I could not imagine the non-suite rooms; how small they must be. I did not like the fact that the hotel is open air which is very hot and humid with mosquitos. Don't expect any air conditioning until you get to your own room. Even the elevator does not have air and the temp is hot, hot, hot! Since the hotel is mostly open air the mosquitos are everywhere, be prepared and don't get malaria! The hotel is a few blocks away from the evening bazaar so there is some peace and quiet.
