Comments: While other reviews consider Fark's moderation to be a weakness, I consider it a strength. I appreciate having a carefully curated list of interesting articles as opposed to wading through loads of crap on Reddit and Digg just to find something good. It saves me time and frustration. The only reason this review isn't 5 stars is because the community is indeed obnoxiously cliquish. Avoiding the comment section is recommended.

Comments: Over the last 10 years I have tried from time to time to participate at Fark. Sadly the site is a clique of old users, doe-eyed worship of moderators and the site's owner, Drew Curtis. Due to the very narrow and nearly vertical/authoritarian approach towards participation (submitting links, commenting/ posting in threads, etc.) DIGG is probably the better choice for people interested in news aggregation.

Once the site was very good as stated by the other user BUT now the moderators won't let you post anything unless they find it interesting... Well here is a news flash.... Not everyone thinks the same thing is interesting. I belong to the sites $5.00 a month membership plan and I AM GOING TO CANCEL IT. The site is worth a look see but that is about it as it is GOING DOWN HILL in this persons opinion. I hope this makes it and these moderators don't stop this like they do over at Fark.
