Comments: Due to time constraints I have been a casual visitor for the past three years. My experience with Experts-Exchange (EE) dates back to 2000. I really like the site because of the vast treasure trove of technical information available for research along with quick answers to my questions, sometimes within minutes of posting. EE, hands-down is one of the most innovative and advanced technical services available on the Internet today.

Comments: Site is always fast, I get quick responses on any question I ask. One of the best features is, that while delphi is becoming less popular as programming language, at this site you still get a response straight away on any topic of your choice, any delphi version. And most other great forums seem to have died a bit on this subject

Comments: Before using Experts Exchange, I had little to no technology knowledge. Thanks to the help of the Experts on EE, I have learned basic HTML, started my own website and created a few widgets on my Facebook fan page. Now that they have Articles that people can view for FREE on the site, it's a great resource for everyone, not just EE members. If you're an Expert in a certain area of technology, I'd recommend just signing up for the site as an Expert (also free) and answering a few questions to keep the free subscription. If you don't know much about technology (like me), it's well worth the monthly fee.

BTW they are very good in not answering emails (as stated here too) and that with a staff of at least 27 people, see: www . ee-stuff . com / angeliii and navigate to Photos and then to Staff under "Core Conference 2008" This conference of staff and moderators (from all over the world) is what they do with their generated $$'s. There is no way to contact these people. They do not answer their phone, they do not return e-mails and there is no way to get them to stop charging your credit card except to cancel you card. I would not recommend anybody ever get involved with Experts Exchange. They are not a useful company. Look at the number of questions related to how you cancel you account and that will give you an idea of the type of organization this is!

This site used to be great for getting answers to information on topics that once could only be gleamed from experts. Now the site is only interested in money and no real community spirit in which it was a few years back. Even when I supply an answer and it is correct, at a later stage I want to review it - I have to become a Paying member to view MY own answer. As the community freely helps others - why does the site then charge for an answer that was provided by another member freely. I know there is some blurb on copyright information, BUT this does not give the EE the right to charge for it!! especially when placing the proceeds into their own pocket. This may be the reason the site has been getting worse as all the people who genuinly help are tired of being taken advantage of and don't see why they should participate for someone elses profatibility. I understand they have to pay to operate the website - but then why are there so many advertisements??
