Search Engine Marketing (SEM) Opportunities for engadget.com

Queries that provide opportunities for this site to advertise through Search Engine Marketing (SEM) to get more traffic. They are popular queries that are relevant to the site, and have low competition in search engine marketing. Learn More Many sites are actively advertising in search engines for the most valuable search queries. This high level of competition tends to result in high advertising costs, which makes it difficult to find attractive advertising opportunities. These opportunities may still exist, however, by looking at the "long tail". The long tail contains search queries with lower Query Popularity, but such queries also tend to have lower QCI. By advertising for many of these queries, sites may still be able to manage an effective search engine marketing campaign. Note that not all queries on the long tail may be very relevant to this site, but this list may contain a number of strong advertising candidates.

Comments: I use this site as a casual user but prefer both T3 and Technology Blogged to this. I can't get over how they delete comments - they sideline people who express opinions for no reason.

Comments: Always loved engadget but lately the content has been a bit slow getting posted. Always a clean site and always stays fresh daily with a very active community of dedicated commentators.

cvare says: I'm giving this a one star review to balance out the guys who gave it 5 stars. Obvious bias there. The site is a decent tech blog, far from the best. very far. There are very heavy and obvious biases toward certain companies and the products they make. So much so that the site has formed a reputation for removing comments that side against certain companies. The previous comment about racism is hard to understand. I think if you look at the context to which the reviewer applied it, then yes the site can be racist at times. I think we need to use a different word here though. Racist sounds off.

Facebook User says: The content is very fresh on the blog, but I notice their site is kind of slow when I'm using Internet Explorer. I constantly get "script is slowing down IE" error message boxs when I visit the website, so I stop going to the blog since I'm mostly using IE, and if a website forces me to use IE to view it. I go to another blog.

va says: These folks do a decent job of keeping one up to date with the material world, but they often are quite racist in their descriptions of items from non-western nations.
