This site provides great detail of information. Forums are hard to beat. If you can not find an answer to your questions, you can ask your own question in the forums. Be warned that some very experienced and talented photographers hang out in the forums, and they can get grumpy on you ;-) You need a few days of browsing just to understand the key words that are being used in the forums and the reviews, before you can make the best of this site. Of course if you are a pro, my statement does not apply to you.

This is absolutely one of best websites for consumers to visit. When I purchased my digital camera DP Review was the cornerstone for the research that I did before buying. Its simple clean layout easy to access glossary of terms and its indepth reviews really helped. The ability to compare cameras side by side makes the decision so much easier. I recommend this site to anyone making a digital camera purchase particularly if in the market for a Digital SLR or a moderate to expensive fixed lens digital camera. I would recommend that you cross check the specifications on cameras as I did find that between sites it does tend to vary. Ultimately its better to rely on the manufacturers website.
