Comments: Site contains repetition of the low quality content of the paper version which, in itself, comprises mainly rumour and half truths which are presented to promote a right wing political agenda (as exemplified by the Daily Mail's support of Hitler's Nazi party and Blackshirts in the 1930s - one headline read: "Hurrah for the Blackshirts!"). Article comments are edited to select those that agree with the editorial bias.

Comments: The Daily Mail website, like the newspaper it represents, is very poor in terms of quality, informative content. Specific to the website, the editorial policy is also very shabby, with lots of selective moderation and content positioning that leads the user into adverts rather than quality information/backstories etc. Indeed, the Daily Mail website is one of the worst UK newspaper sites for over-abundance of intrusive advertising. I suspect that they get a lot of their traffic from natural opponents to the Daily Mail posting and visiting links along the lines of "look what the Mail has said now". It's difficult to believe they attract many loyal visitors.
