Comments: Ample free storage for the average user who uses the Personal (free plan), although some advanced features are not available. For editing worksheets, however, the site refers users to Zoho. This takes some extra time. Site layout is satisfactory. Ideal for storing simple documents and photos.

2ndskiesforex says: I started a trial with Box.net. Used the service once and then never again as my web designer found another solution to our issue. Went to cancel my trial subscription on the day of the billing and was initially told I could only get an 80% refund and given two months of the service for free (which I would have paid for with the 20%). I requested a 100% refund since I canceled on the day of the billing and had never used the service. After calling to their offshore call center in India for help, I had to wait till their billing manager got in before I could dispute the issue. I was then offered a 90% refund and after several emails, they would absolutely not budge on it. Why keep the 10%? It did not cost them anything to process a refund. The billing manager would not even take my call and insisted on only communicating via email. There was no manager to talk to, no department to file a complaint. Completely ridiculous. Their insistence on keeping the 10% lost any chance of me being a customer in the future and any chance of me recommending anyone to them ever again. From a customer service standpoint, they totally miss the point of taking care of clients and this is my first experience of them. Honestly, I would never ever consider even thinking about Box.net as an option and cannot remember the last time a company inspired me to write a negative review like this.

Worked great for backing up and sharing all of my documents and pictures online. It was really easy to use, and when I had a question, I got emailed back literally within 10 minutes. Also the cheapest out there for the space I needed, you get 1 gigabyte with unlimited bandwidth for 24.99 for a year. I did xdrive for a while, but I didn't need that much space and it's also more expensive and complicated. http://www.box.net
