ADVFN.com is without a doubt now the best website for info needed in trading shares. Since they moved to the "java" based platform a couple of years ago the site is very robust and fast. Most of what you need is also free but I like the "Level 2" info which I need as a frequent trader. Frankly, I think $40 a month is a steal and I can make that back within a few minutes of trading using the ADVFN.com tools. But the thing that they (in my opinion anyway) stand out from the others in - is customer service. For a website (for most that use it - it is free !) their service is beyond reproach. With over 450,000 users, you are always going to gets a certain amount of idiots posting on the Free Bulletin Board, and this is the internet, free speech and all that. However, ADVFN take a good approach and that means for a lively and interesting site (even if sometimes people get a little "heated" !). The Bulletin Board can also be an excellent source of info if you can sort the good out from the bad (or mad). Two brains are better than one and 500,000 are great ! If you are looking for a free source of financial info to trade shares in the US, UK, Ireland, Canada or a dozen other or so coutries, I can highly recommend this site.

Having been trading markets for years I am finally able to say this is the best investment site on the internet. The live data feeds are a tool no trader can do without and the BB and the information passed on them are a tool no investor can do without. And they are trying to cover every stock market in the world. It is the best, visit it.
