Comments: Usually referred to as "the a**hole of the internet" due to its blatant disregard for morals, ethics, or respect of any sort, 4chan is - or once was - the powerhouse for internet memes and trolls across the internet. Mislabeled as the "home of Anonymous," 4chan is now a cesspool of aggression, hatred, and immorality. If you don't mind the child pornography, graphical sexual images, bloody gore, and ignorant stupidity, 4chan is surprisingly an interesting online imageboard. I wouldn't recommend it to a friend, but being a frequent user of this website, I find it an all-encompassing hellhole for anyone brave (or stupid) enough to venture into. The community is active, but almost always negative and hateful, so it's not for the emotionally vulnerable. If you want to survive here, you'll need to desensitize yourself from all the negativities of the world because otherwise, this God-forsaken place will swallow you whole. That being said, it's a pretty cool site.

Comments: 4chan was once the kingpin of the Internet. They used to create most of the memes, the offensive/yet funny jokes, and deliver fresh download/torrent links and content much more faster than any other site on the web. However, over the years, 4Chan has gotten a whole lot tamer, to the point where where it no longer delivers most of this. The excess amount of newfags, the implementation of Captcha!, and the common lags the site experiences(due to the excess amount of bandwidth the site receives), ultimately killed the experience. If it weren't for 4chan's inevitable rise to fame, the site would continue as the greatest Internet hangout. Unfortunately, it no longer does. If you enjoy trolling or getting trolled, the site is for you. But content-wise, you're better off searching somewhere else.

Comments: Indecency and other activities that the normal world would find offensive are commonplace here, so naturally the site serves as a meeting place for some of the worst people in the world. It isn't all bad, though, and while there may be a lot of crap, once you sift through it all, 4chan serves as an excellent way to kill time.

Comments: This site is not appropiate for: 1 Anyone under 21 2 Most people I love 4chan but it can get really extreme, you need to be very open minded and sometimes you WILL get badly hurt. "It's a place where trolls are trolling trolls". I would say it is a very ARTISTIC and edgy site in an unorthodox way.

Comments: Obviously you have to be of the proper mindset to understand the inside jokes and style of humor on the site, but overall, 4chan is an awesome site. I wouldn't recommend it to children, but the community is always active and it's just a really good time waster. The site is fairly secure and safe, just make sure you don't do anything too annoying to the community or else you will be banned. You will be insulted, but that is part of the joys of a completely anonymous community: everyone is mocked. Don't bother going on the site if you are a non-humorous person, you can't take ridicule, and you are easily shocked. If you want to waste some time with a very funny, albeit strange and somewhat extreme community, I'd say go for it... As an aside, I am quite displeased at the people who dislike 4chan simply because it is a shocking and not perfectly clean and wonderful. You folks need to understand that the internet is not a perfect Disney-style world. Just because you disagree with the general attitudes of the site does not, in my opinion, warrant a completely negative review. To each his own... tl;dr: 4chan is fun if you get the jokes, keep away from children though. Good time waster if you have a dark sense of humor.

Comments: Prime example of a horrible community, everyone is just out there to offend everyone. Lots of nude pictures, gore pictures, offending pictures, racism, xenophobia, homophobia, anti furry, sexism. If you are not one of them (heterosexual white male atheist) be prepared to take an insult. They also hack everyone who tries to stand up against them. Not for the weak hearted and especially not for kids and young adults, 21+ atleast!! As a proud gay christian furry I was insulted again and again for my choice of lifestyle everytime I tried to start a conversation. Also, a big minus for no accounts, it gets annoying that you have to write your nickname everytime you post. And other people might steal my nickname to try to imitate me. Overall I would not recommend to visit this site unless you are a psychopath!
